The Narconon Arrowhead drug and alcohol rehabilitation center is a national leader in all-natural, drug-free methods of getting addicts off drugs. Every July Fourth, the Arrowhead center puts on an amazing fireworks show over nearby Eufaula. This is a great location next to Arrowhead State Park that everyone in the community can easily attend. Many residents of the area will gather on the lake’s beaches, while others will even go boating on the lake in order to get a better view of the pyrotechnics. By putting the show on the over the lake, the display is made even more beautiful, as the fireworks reflect in the nighttime waters below.

Other Ways to Help the Community
When looking for ways to help your own community, you don’t have to go as far as to put on your own fireworks show. There are many small ways that you can make a difference in your own town.
For example, one of the very best ways you can help is to focus on education. Many young people simply don’t know enough about the dangers of drugs in order to keep themselves safe. In many cases their parents won’t talk to them about drugs, either not knowing enough to do so effectively or simply not thinking that it is necessary. Many parents suffer from cases of “It’s never going to happen to my family.”
Get educated on the truth about drugs (materials from Narconon Arrowhead can help with this) and then look for what community organizations or schools in your area could use your help. Talk to schools and clubs and find out who would be interested in a free seminar or presentation. Again, Narconon Arrowhead can help you prepare for these seminars.
Another way that you can help in your local area is by talking to community leaders and politicians and making your viewpoints known. For example, many communities throughout Washington and Colorado (the two states that have legalized recreational marijuana) are banding together to drive weed out of their own communities.
Even after the state legalized the drug, these towns are letting their representatives know that drugs are not welcome in their areas. As a response, many areas have been able to ban weed shops altogether. You can make a similar impact by talking to your own town council or the representatives in your area. Never underestimate what you can be capable of just by making your voice hear.
